There is no recording or transcript of the controversial hearing in which Waukesha parade suspect Darrell Brooks was released on $1,000 bail, Wisconsin Right Now has learned. Milwaukee County blames "technical issues" or "human error." Milwaukee County's court system is unable to produce a recording or transcript of the controversial Darrell Brooks bail hearing that resulted in the Waukesha parade suspect going free just 10 days before the attack, Wisconsin Right Now has exclusively learned. The recording doesn't exist due to either technical issues or human error, the district court administrator tells WRN. Indeed, other than a short paragraph on the Wisconsin online court website, the county can produce no transcript or other record of what was said at the hearing at all. That's even though the hearing has earned the Milwaukee County District Attorney, John Chisholm, and a court commissioner, Cedric Cornwall, a raft of negative national headline

Bob Donovan to John Chisholm: “Dear John, It’s Time for You to Go”

This article was written by former Ald. Bob Donovan, a candidate for Milwaukee mayor. Dear John, You and I have been friends for years. I enjoyed working with you as 8th District Alderman and over the years, although we shared different opinions at times, we worked well together. But, I have to tell you John, things have changed. I have to agree with the voters of Milwaukee, and they’re telling me you’ve got to go. I think it’s time to say goodbye John. Our relationship was always built on honesty. That’s why I thought we could do good things for the City of Milwaukee; always from a level of honesty and putting the citizen first. But, you’ve changed John. I can’t trust you anymore. Here’s why. You aren’t being honest. When things go wrong, you blame someone else, even try to cover up. Your investigation into the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy? That’s just blowing smoke. The fact is you and your office are releasing dangerous criminals back into society as a matter of policy

According to promotional materials and grant documents, RISE students are trained to use critical race theory as a means of evaluating teacher quality, among other things. NCCU partnered with the University of North Carolina, Wilmington on the project, which provided one-year fellowships to abou

Our criminal justice leaders are supposed to protect us. They failed. It's not just John Chisholm's fault Darrell E Brooks was allowed to prey on more victims. There are several people to blame. In this exclusive investigation, WE NAME NAMES. The national outrage over the fact Darrell E Brooks was free on the streets to attack the Waukesha parade has focused on Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm . Wisconsin Right Now led the charge in exposing Chisholm's record on refusing to process felony cases, including serious gun cases. We've warned nearby communities that they are not immune from Milwaukee crime. Crime is like cancer; if not stopped, it will only spread. But a Wisconsin Right Now investigation into Darrell E Brooks reveals that Chisholm is only one piece of the puzzle that contributed to the massacre; there are many other court officials, both in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties, who bear responsibility - and arguably MORE - for the fact Da
