Milwaukee Police Officer Shot at 21st St. And St. Paul

Another Milwaukee police officer has been shot, this time at 21st St. and St. Paul, sources tell Wisconsin Right Now. We heard there is a suspect in custody. The officer's condition is unclear. It is the third time a Milwaukee County law enforcement officer was shot in the last two weeks. An off-duty Milwaukee police officer was shot and survived; a Milwaukee County deputy was also shot multiple times and survived. The latest officer was shot in the chest and upper shoulder and possibly the stomach. This is a developing story.

Wauwatosa Tells City Workers to Avoid Red & Green Christmas Decorations

The City of Wauwatosa has instructed city workers that they should avoid using red and green in public spaces to celebrate Christmas. Instead, top city officials are urging them to decorate counters with purple and blue instead. The email went out this week from Deputy City Administrator Melissa Cantarero Weiss. It also notes that City Administrator James Archambo is on board with the instructions. In it, she urged city workers to embrace “inclusive decorating practices” and make Wauwatosa’s municipal buildings a “place that everyone can feel comfortable visiting throughout the holiday season.” City workers were urged to “opt for more neutral and inclusive decorations.” We received the email from multiple sources who questioned why Wauwatosa was making this a priority when the city has far more pressing issues. Threats against Jewish and Other Israel Supporters at UWM Must Be Met by Enforcing University Rules

UWM’s anti-Israel student groups are now openly threatening Jews and others who support Israel’s existence and right of self-defense—posting on Instagram on Friday, July 19, “ANY organization or entity that supports Israel is not welcome at UWM. This includes the local extremist groups such as Hillel, Jewish Federation, etc. We refuse to normalize extremists and extremist groups walking around our campus…. Any organization that has not separated themselves from Israel will be treated accordingly as extremist criminals.
