Scott Walker Endorses Roger Roth for Congress

Former Republican Gov. Scott Walker has endorsed Roger Roth for U.S. Congress. Roth, an entrepreneur, former lieutenant governor candidate, and former state Senate president, is running for the 8th Congressional District seat being vacated by U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher. Roth, a Republican, is also a combat veteran. "Roger Roth is the kind of conservative fighter that the people of northeast Wisconsin need in Congress," Walker wrote in a statement. "He is a home builder who knows how to put people to work, a veteran who knows how to serve his country, and a conservative who puts his faith in the people instead of the government," Walker said. https://twitter.com/ScottWalker/status/1758530616100810990 "Roger's been an unflinching champion of lower taxes, empowering families through universal school choice, and ensuring that our elections are safe and secure. I'm proud to endorse Roger Roth for Congress!" Walker said. Walker's endorsement comes in the wake of Wisconsin Right Now's own endorsement of Roth, who announced he was running for the seat the same day that U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher announced he will not be running for re-election. https://www.wisconsinrightnow.com/scott-walker-roger-roth/?feed_id=10868&_unique_id=65d2b052b6a80
